I have been helping Affiliate Summit organize the Mentor program. I appreciate Shawn and Missy giving me the opportunity. I have met some really great people through this process. There are so many people excited about the program and so many who are awesome about volunteering to be a Mentor. There have been several of these Mentors make post on their sites about the program. Okay it is only a little over 2 weeks before the Affiliate Summit, and I have been sitting in front of this computer several hours a day and even several hours during the middle of the night hours.  I hope my Ass isn’t getting fatter.  I feel like I need to get some excercise.  I am going to be religious about working out I especially love to do tae bo  Close-out prices you’re going to love… Billy Blanks products at the lowest prices! 

I also need to get a pedicure and my nails done !  I need to get my hair colored, yeah my roots are showing.  Tell me why hair grows so fast at the top, but it doesn’t seem to be getting any longer…..hmmmm could be all the styling tools we use and ratting it, and hairspray….Oh my,

OMG I need to figure out what I am going to wear,   Oh boy I get to go shopping !!!  Maybe even get a massage.  Thank you Affiliate Summit, for giving me a reason to do all these girlie things.  

Is it humid in Boston?  I bet it is, that means my hair will be flat, maybe I need to go buy some of those hair extensions and add ons for an easy up do and maybe I can have many hair styles….

I was at Affiliate Summit and visiting with Mark Weiglus from 45n5.com, he was in charge of the blog room.  As we visited the question came up, “What is your Niche”?  “What are you interested in”?  I was almost embarrased.  “I have no idea.” I thought to myself. Everyone in the Affiliate marketing community talk about finding your “Niche”.  Oh my God, I have no clue who I am.  I have been a wife and a mother for so many years and I have no idea what I am all about.  Sure I am all about my kids, and I love my husband, but my kids are grown, my husband has gotten a promotion and is all excited about his work and that is his life now. 

My Parents live close, and thank Goodness, I am close as they are getting older and time is something you can never get back.  I treasure each precious moment with my Parents.

There are so many women who have blogs about their kids, being a mom, strong women.  Yeah, yeah, yeah,….whatever!   I am nothing special.  Who am I?  I am like every other woman in the world who has dedicated their lives to their family.  Which is so admirable, don’t get me wrong, I am proud of myself, and I love my family more than life itself. 

But Who Am “I” ?

I attended Affiliate Summit West 2008, in Las Vegas

I learned so much.  I attended many seminars and social events.

I met many people face to face, whom I have contacted previously online.

This included Amy Rodriguez, Carolyn Tang, Kim Rowley, Mark Wielgus.

I saw people I recognized from the industry, but didn’t get a chance to visit with them.

Joel Comm, Jim Kukral, Sam Harrelson, just to name a few

I also got to say hi to my favorite affiliate managers, Jesse Bouman (1and1.com)

and Rickey Moreland Join Match.com

It was just an awesome event, and I will be blogging about the many seminars as

soon as I sort out my notes and thoughts.
